Since lots of people've been asking:

I have no idea if I'll be at Psinging tonight. I have plans immediately after work (after I feed my cat), and I don't know how late they'll go or how tired I'll be after them. I currently intend to try to go, although it may only be for the last hour or so.

I _will_ be there next time, and will be bringing (at the least) [livejournal.com profile] australian_joe with me.

Why the fuck am I still awake?

It is, by the way, _INTENSELY_ frustrating to miss someone you knew well, but no longer know; still see periodically, but can't talk to. I don't know why it matters to me so much that I be able to _tell_ people that I miss them, but it does.

It's also very strange to find myself missing someone, but know perfectly well that it's not them _now_ that I miss because I don't know them now. Then again, I don't think I miss people nearly as much if I have a strong sense of them, since I tend to continue to be able to refresh such senses periodically, and can trust in that ability and in my sense of them.

Sometimes I hate that I don't stop caring about and missing people! And sometimes I wish to _god_ I knew what triggers these mental states.

I truly hope that I manage to sleep enough to actually be awake for looking at apartment tomorrow.

Psinging was fun, though. Many nifty people, much cuddling, much glee at other people's interactions, much amusement. And I was wearing petable clothing!

Kitty's belly fur is still growing in. I suspect that it will still be growing back by the time [livejournal.com profile] australian_joe is here.

Almost 2am, and not tired. 'Course, wasn't tired when I got home, but I hoped that being in bed would help (didn't). Perhaps I shall take melatonin...

It is amusing to have a request for random words. Difficult to comply, though!

Yeah. Melatonin. Much as my random babble is entertaining me, everyone else who _doesn't_ have to get up in the morning is in appropriate sleeping places. And my cat wants to know why I'm not in bed. :)

neat thing

I get to have a Mirena inserted in 8 days. Finally, I will be done with the damn birth control pill! (also, having this done on Friday the 13th pleases me, somehow)

postcards! (incidentally, this post is where I got the first link from)

Want to move _now_. But must wait. Must find an apartment and must wait for my current roommate to move out.

Packing has begun, though! Packing amuses me a rather disturbing amount. I pack what is unlikely to be needed before move (decorations, then possibly books I've read).

For someone who never actually cooks, I have an awful lot of cookbooks. And I really need to get a book into which I can stick loose recipes, as I have a bunch of those, and organizing would help encourage me to use them. One can tell that I still intend to teach myself, I guess. :)

For someone who rarely games, I have an awful lot of WhiteWolf gaming books. I should attempt to get rid of them, as I doubt I'll ever want to run a game, and won't want to game regularly enough to play _anyway_.

Must do lots of cleaning so that there is less cleaning to be done when I actually move out. Tonight: washing the kitchen floor. And perhaps continuing with the cleaning of the fridge, which I started this morning (yes, I was awake early enough that I cleaned a little before leaving).

My brain apparently refuses to believe that [livejournal.com profile] australian_joe is to be in the US soon when I'll not be seeing him until the end of the month. Strange brain. It'd be nice for it to believe it, since it'll remove time zone considerations for three weeks, and all!

Sleep study scheduled for early June. Perhaps I shall know what's up with my sleep, and _maybe_ something can be done about it without stupid side effects! Also need to visit the sleep doc three months after I started taking insane amounts of iron pills, to see if that helps.

Kitty blood tests next week, to see that his pills aren't being evil to him. I should remember to ask when his x-ray was done, so I can determine when three months from that time is, to do another one.

Psinging tomorrow! [livejournal.com profile] australian_joe visiting me for ~1 week late May/early June! NYC visit in June! Beginning of Summer party in June! Baitcon at end of July (to which I intend to go, presuming I'm not mid-move)! (here, have an exclamation point. I appear to have extra. ;)

[weekend]

Good weekend. Very much with the good.

Psinging of shininess (as previously stated). Brought [livejournal.com profile] ladytabitha and [livejournal.com profile] ayalanya there with me. [livejournal.com profile] entrochan went there for the first time, and seemed to enjoy herself. Was randomly scritched by multiple people on my way in, which was neat and had the usual effect of causing me to stop whatever I was doing and purr (internally - I don't actually purr vocally very often, as it requires thought, and I tend to lose thought when in states where I would want to purr). Scritched [livejournal.com profile] ayalanya and [livejournal.com profile] ratatosk for a bit, which was nifty and snuggly. Many other nifty people as well, of course, but I interacted less directly with them.

Brought [livejournal.com profile] ladytabitha and [livejournal.com profile] ayalanya home with me ([livejournal.com profile] ladytabitha drove, which was good because I was tired and we'd have left earlier otherwise), and sleeping happened.

Very lazy morning, then [livejournal.com profile] ayalanya did much cooking of tasiness and impressiveness. [livejournal.com profile] starandrea arrived in mid-afternoon, and food was consumed. Dress-up happened. I note that I sometimes forget how much fun clothing I _have_. I should really wear it more often! Much cuddly goodness with [livejournal.com profile] starandrea. I purr. :) Wandered to Friendly's (across the street) for ice cream purposes. The waitress pegged us all very well, and brought us water with bendy straws! Hee. :) Very silly, we all are. (as if anyone is surprised)

Abortive attempt at watching "Monty Python's Holy Grail" due to everyone being tired. As [livejournal.com profile] starandrea had to leave early the next morning, goodbyes were said to her before sleep.

Vaguely anti-social morning the next morning, at least on my part. [livejournal.com profile] penghuin stopped by to bring [livejournal.com profile] ladytabitha home. There was much entertaining/distracting interaction before leaving actually happened, which made for a very interesting beginning of phone conversation with [livejournal.com profile] australian_joe. I am pleased to note that I no longer am vaguely baffled by [livejournal.com profile] penghuin, as I appear to have finally managed to get a sense of him. Yay!

[livejournal.com profile] ayalanya and I went to work group, and work group was good, although _tiring_. I was already tired before I got there, so that was interesting. I think I ate about three times more than I normally do, afterwards. And there was much scritching and brief snuggly interaction, and it was good.

_lots_ of snuggling and scritching and touch of goodness, and people frequently enough initiated it, as well! I am pleased and purry. *quiet glee*

Still tired, for some strange reason. I slept for ~11 hours Sat night! On the plus side, having done so appears to have managed to kick the annoying sinus thing I had. Apparently it was a cold, and that's why I was so damn tired all weekend and late last week, and had the dizzy that I sometimes get with sinus stuff (made for an interesing Psinging, since I kept randomly getting dizzy while sitting there!).

*pleased*

edit: sheesh. I think I used more LJ names in this post than I normally do in multiple months! Odd. :)

Wee, shiny happy Psinging! (combination of many shiny people and very _very_ few depressing songs. Many pretty songs! And people! Wee!)

*glee* And soon, there will be a [livejournal.com profile] starandrea!

Last night was _good_, socially, even considering that I was so damn tired/over-social that I took a nap between work and visiting. I really do need to visit this particular couple more often. Besides, every time I see them together, I melt from glee at the cuteness that is them!

Am thinking that I might need to attempt to find the balance point for myself in regards to caffeine, at least in the wintertime. It really does have a significant positive effect on both mood and energy for me. But I don't want to be jittery, and I don't want to develop an addiction. So I investigate. (I also don't want to be having some in the evenings, because still being awake at 1:30am is bad. But the bit of tiramisu I had last night was tasty, and I had much better energy levels afterwards!)

It is almost the weekend. I am impatient and pleased and so far managing to ignore that [livejournal.com profile] australian_joe goes home after this weekend. *grabs weekend and holds it tight* Mine. I steal it!

Also, there is Psinging again Friday night. Psinging! La!

It pleases me inordinantly to be accused of being really cute with [livejournal.com profile] australian_joe while geeking is going on. Geeky cuteness! *purr*
