I find myself strangely gleeful at removing the ice/snow from my car this morning. It was a solid mass of ice/snow along the front and top of my car, but my wipers were up, and when I broke it up enough, I could just _push_ huge chunks of ice off my car, to shatter into small pieces on the ground.

This filled me with similar glee to that of cracking thin layers of ice in puddles, and breaking into a creme brule. Glee, I tell you!

Somewhat similar to that of crunching dry leaves in the fall, also.

That... crunching/crackling noise, plus the shattering of the solid object pleases me far too much. And it's not problematically destructive (indeed, freeing my car from its ice meant that I was able to get to work, and not throw those huge hunks of ice at people behind me).

Also, I did not fall on the ice that was my driveway this morning

I can has piano music played by a sweetie!

Now if only I had fewer meetings so I could _listen_ to it...

Co-worker offering to explain something in harmony on Friday because my brain was too fried to parse what he was saying. This, perhaps not shockingly, caused a response of 'Hell, yes! I don't care _what_ is to be explained, if someone offers to explain it in harmony (or, for that matter, interpretive dance), I _will_ say yes!'

Sadly, there was no actual harmony explanation (perhaps because there was too much laughter).

You know I have corrupted people's brains when...

They mis-read 'New Scientist' as 'Mad Scientist', and think it would have made complete sense the way they misread it, since it was in my apartment.

They mis-read 'weird conversion' as 'weird conversation' repeatedly.

Mua-ha-ha-ha!

No, I will _not_ babble like a loon at a friendly researcher who is researching stuff I'm interested in, at a school I'm strongly interested in, with whom I've only had one previous contact. I will not!

To be remembering this, I am:

I _like_ having people's addresses.

Because then? When I get impulsive? I can _do_ something about it. :)

*immense glee*

(at least one package has arrived, so I now feel free to post about it)

Also? Postage costing more than items is amusing (even though it was also expected). Having to guess what items are worth is also strange. And I'm glad that random magnetic thing didn't cause problems with customs.

I have glow-in-the-dark nails again, because it felt _wrong_ for them to not be glowing when I turned out the light before sleep. Also, it pleases me immensely to have glowing nails.

Two months. Last month went by _far_ too slowly. Dammit!

Serenity Hand Puppet Theatre - via multiple people. Spoilers. In case anyone wasn't sure. :)

Sunlight! Yay! (people who've lived on the west coast before have been feeling the need to verify their location; it's been wet, cloudy, and strangely warm for days)

Random bits of glee:

(mostly also posted to [livejournal.com profile] bits_of_bliss)

-Unexpected sweet potato!
-Nurse figuring out how to make blood being drawn not be painful the whole damn time (yay, pedeatric needles! Silly small veins of mine)
-Kitty on my lap lots of yesterday (he didn't used to be a lap kitty; working from home and having had no couch appears to have adjusted this)
-Being able to help people out that I care about
-hot chocolate
-remembering to use my light box first thing in the morning
