Meme from
bbbsg and
tafkar:
If you could have 10 knowledge modules installed in you right now, which would they be?
1) intuitive understanding of how the physical world works
2) common sense (instead of having to learn from repeated sometimes painful experience or other people's explanations)
3) how to move gracefully (more generally, how to be more in tune with and comfortable in my body)
4) spatial awareness
5) ability to effectively express the things inside my head
6) herbology (more generally, body/mind/spirit healing, including prevention of problems)
7) better/more accurate/less effortful reading of body language
8) cooking
9) sewing
10) wilderness survival
Wow. This was difficult! I had a bunch more than 10... And I sorta cheated, what with the 'more generally' statements.

Date: 2003-11-05 11:46 am (UTC)True. Some are not. But they tend to have been things on my 'want to learn' list long enough that I'm not convinced I'm going to have enough initiative to learn these oh so useful skills on my own. :)

Date: 2003-11-05 01:23 pm (UTC)i'm sure you'll find some of them will occur at the right moment.
perhaps a few you shall have to pursue? with a vengeance. hunt down and take as your own.
certain kinds of dance, martial arts, and juggling might accomplish several on your list :> but the dance and juggling might be more casual and fun.
hmmmm.
i think a cat nap, and weaving homework is in order.

Date: 2003-11-05 01:35 pm (UTC)All of the above. There needs to be a combination of time, initiative (which generally goes along with energy), and having thought of it *all* at the same time. And, for longer term things, I need to get into enough of a habit that I won't skip things because I'm not up to them and then never get back to them.
I was doing Yoga for a bit there, and that was very much fun. I shall return to that I think, but not immediately.
Also have some interest in belly dance. But have not yet taken any classes. Ditto for swing dance.
