Makes sense to me.

they now say cats with recurring hairball vomiting (even long coated kitties) is due to...FOOD ALLERGY or Irritable Bowel Syndrome.

Ah. Hmm. Hmm...

What about cats who frequently appear to be trying to cough something up for minutes at a time, but nothing comes up, most of the time?
