This is very confusing. Did you know it's not Thursday today?! How does that work?

I have no idea at _all_ where my water bottle went. I has a sad. Need to get a strap for the silver one I got from school, as it's at least also metal, even though it holds less water than the missing brilliant green one.

Also, it was _WAY_ warmer out than I expected when I walked to school. So many layers removed. Probably going to go grab a handy skirt that's in my bag from last week to wear to Squares as it'll likely be too warm for leggings.

The weather _looked_ like it'd be cool today! Maybe it'll be cooler later.

My sweatshirt with the winged wolf on it has a URL on it. Who knew (evidently people who are looking at it. ;)? Maybe eventually - when I have money - I will replace my disintegrating... aw, no. They don't still have a big cat wheel. I _could_ replace my Gryphon Wheel, though.

Are old and middle english usually options on language selection preference lists? Did I just never notice?

How do we tell I'm exhausted? I monologue my entire drive, in large part to keep my mind on the act of driving. I discuss with myself my surroundings, the internals of my brain, the strangeness of other drivers, my car, y'know. The everything that might be relevant. (I bet on the way home I sing my monologue instead) Also, apparently, random and strange accents/ways of speaking.

On the plus side? I'm evidently cheery and easily amused in my exhaustedness!

BEEEEEEEEEES!

That is all.

I have a screwdriver in my pocket.

I know how it got there, but I'm not entirely sure why I - at the time - thought it was the right place to put it. Screwdrivers do not live in my pocket! This particular screwdriver lives next to my bed to help handle the fact that I keep failing to go to the glasses place and replace my glasses whose screw keeps being loose and which is mildly broken.

It was an insufficient screwdriver for the goal for which I took it out of my room, that of dismantling the table that formerly lived in my kitchen/dining area. The screwheads were too big for it, and I apparently decided that my pocket was easier than returning it to my room. I obtained a better screwdriver, used it, and returned that one to its home (I doubt it would fit into my pocket).

This one? This one has been in my pocket for probably 24 hours now. I wondered where I had put it last night when I was going to tighten the screw, but didn't worry about it. It was today, when I was hunting for my nail clippers, and my hair tie, that I figured out what the extra thing in my pocket was.

Oddly, it's not poking me uncomfortably. It's just _there_. In my pocket. With my change, my nail clippers, two chapsticks, and a few hair ties.

I have a screwdriver in my pocket. And maybe, just maybe, I'll remember to put it back where it belongs when I get home tonight. Or maybe it'll continue to live in my pocket.

Because I was randomly curious...

I took one of the many online typing speed tests (which test how quickly and accurately you type what they have you reading from, and therefore doesn't show how fast you type things from the inside of your head), and was informed that my speed is 88 WPM with 1 mistake (adjusted speed 87 WPM). The mistake, I am amused to note, is that I replaced 'through' with 'throughout'. Oops. :) Oddly, I think it feels less wrong to use the word I used, which might be why I did it without noticing.

(Interstingly, doing it a second time with a different paragraph - thinking that I was doing worse - I did 70 WPM, with no mistakes)

I have, I note, no idea what 'normal' typing speed is. And I bet the speed at which I read modifies things, somewhat.

La!

'winged toasters' seen as 'winged lobsters'. Winged lobsters actually sounds kinda terrifying, and I was very confused when the sentence continued on about screensavers.

Also? Mew, mew, mew, mew, mew, mew!

And I got to have a rather startling number of conversations about the insides of people's head today. Especially startling considering how busy today was.

And considering how tired I was when I left work, WHY AM I NOT TIRED ENOUGH TO SLEEP? Damn overstim reaction making me think I'm sleepy earlier today...

I went over to visit [livejournal.com profile] brynndragon Tuesday night, and did stuff for scientific research. Why do I never remember how much planning things drains me?

Also, I appear to be doing poorly with my nightly stretches. My left leg is doing its "I cramp and _HATE_ _YOU_. Also, you will be limping a little tomorrow. Go take Ibuprofen now." thing.

Oh, look. Getting sleepy. Ibuprofen, then bed.
