Skills assessment to be sent in on July 21st, Perm Visa to send application for in Sept, and various other things related to get done with appropriate timing makes for a very full brain.

So does having something new, interesting, but confusing to learn and then write a test plan for at work.

But my wrists still continue to allow for strength work while working a full-time week, as long as I'm not stupid and do too much over a weekend (even having done that a couple weekends ago, I still stayed out of flare). So wrists are hopeful. But they make it a lot harder for me to visit people, and to get to work when people go on vacation. And to keep in touch with people. But hopeful. :)

And I get to see a psychiatrist on Monday to see about being allowed to use the only meds which have actually helped me sleep (I will still have some nights when I can't, but nothing like without them) _every_ night, instead of every other.

ETA: headache of multiple days appears to have been congestion, FWIW, but also may have been related to sleeping poorly. Annoying.

You know, I bet work being really busy is _not_ helping with my attempts to plan things. Duh, self!

*stops thinking about it for now, so as to not end up utterly overstimed*

My weekend is suddenly very complicated. It was already pretty packed with stuff, and I'm trying my damndest to find time to fit extra people in without losing any of what I have already planned, and without undue stress due to trying to do too much. (SATURDAY IS _MINE_, dammit! Having that ought to help with trying to avoid doing too much stuff, at least)

Have I recently mentioned how much I hate trying to plan things, especially on little time and not enough sleep?

Ah, well.

The weather plugin for firefox is being a tease. It shows possible thunderstorms, but I see no indication of such (well, ok, it's a bit more humid than yesterday). WANT THUNDERSTORMS!

I have no idea why I'm already looking for a place to move to when I won't be moving until July at the earliest. I refuse to move before [livejournal.com profile] ayalanya (because that's just wrong) or while [livejournal.com profile] australian_joe is visiting, so... I should at _least_ wait until next month to start looking, no?

On the plus side, though, I've determined that craigslist is likely to be my best bet for finding a good place, defined as... )

This isn't going to be until summertime, but I'm starting the process of investigating having to move due to the probability that my current living situation will (continue to) be too stressful as far as parking.

I have an additional constraint on where I can live than I did the last time I moved, because my roommate has no car. So, my question is this:

In addition to searching on rent.com, apartments.com, and apartmentguide.com - which are all appearing to be mostly apartment complexes - and checking newspaper classifieds (which are mostly online, yay!), where else would y'all suggest I look?

craigslist is useless for someone not actually _in_ Greater Boston, which I am not and do not want to be, partly because of the commute to work, and partly because I don't want to require a roommate in order to continue living there. The 'city' thing may not be something I can avoid while still being near an MBTA stop, so that's less of a factor. (ie, Lowell is an option)

Having a cat may or may not be more of a constraint than being near the T, but I'm not sure. It's not negotiable, though, any more than my needing a parking spot is.

[edit: Ok... perhaps I _am_ willing to consider places which are on subway lines, instead of commuter rail lines. If current roommate can commit to being able to afford to room with me while on one of the various northern bits of subway, the having to have a roommate financially argument won't actually matter anymore. And if I'm considering the possibility of Lowell or Lawrence... Hmm. I'm not at all certain about this, but I might just be willing to consider the Boston area. But I need to be 40 minutes drive or less from Westford. And I need to wait until [livejournal.com profile] ayalanya has a better sense of her finances...]
