Ok, I definately need a new wireless router. It _really_ does not like working on a consistent basis. Unfortunately, I _cannot_ remember how to connect directly to my cable modem, so it's going to be a flaky WFH day. Fun.

And I have no idea when I'll have time/transportation to _get_ a new router...

Comcast? You need to power cycle the cable modem if you change the device it is talking to. Unplug for at least a minute, connect to your PC, turn on CM, turn on PC, hope. Some Comcast areas still lock you to a single MAC, so you may need to clone the MAC from your router to your PC for this to work.

Also, if transportation is your issue, circuit city has the wrt54g for $50 with free shipping. Mine is still going strong a few years later.
