Y'know, threatening to consume a cat due to one's hunger works less than well when he just sits there purring. Also? Mouthful of cat hair isn't actually appetizing.

[edit] Instead, I will consume the fishy (fishy, fishy!) which attempted homicide earlier this week. Because my meal? Should not win.

He's probably thinking to himself "what odd creatures I live with. oh well, they provide fresh food and water, and take care of the litter box. they must be ok.".

He _knows_ we're odd. But yes, no actual consumption of kitty cats. If nothing else, he'd be a hell of an expensive meal! And we'd miss him. And eventually he'd fight back.
