So tired I'm shakey, and the plane doesn't leave for another 1.5 hours. Traveling west to east really does seem to be much, much harder on me, completely ignoring layover time.

Hopefully I manage any sleep at all on my next flight, since time zone confusion meant I basically got no sleep from MEL to LAX.

At the very least, I hope I'm not some horrible combination of jet lagged and exhausted that I can't sleep tonight even with melatonin (yes, I do sleep with sufficient difficulty that this is a reasonably possibility).

Yeah, going to you tires me more than coming home.

Now you can be amazed by how many hours I *do* stay awake when I first see you! 8->

(And by my coming home once, showering and going to work!! 8-P)


Still hasn't mostly sunk in that you're no longer here, yesterday felt like a scheduled day with one of the others...

*nod* I think I had heard that was true, and it makes sense, what with the whole going in the opposite direction of the sun thing.

It was _immensely_ difficult to leave you in the airport. So, yeah...

I'm also having trouble with figuring out what 'yesterday' means, in every single conversation I've had since I was home. Because, having traveled for over 24 hours, and mostly not slept, 'yesterday' is the night before I left, for me. :) Made jasra's explanation of why you knew that there was not lemon poppy seed muffin available very strange sounding. :)
