[music] Amarok & last.fm
Jan. 2nd, 2006 08:47 pmI'm playing with music player/organizers (the kind of thing the iTunes player under Mac OS and Windows does with one's music collection) under Linux, and have come to the conclusion that Amarok makes me happy, other than the fact that it makes you add things to a playlist in order to be able to play them.
It also recommended last.fm, which is an interesting site (and Amarok interfaces with it, to an extent, which is nice).

Date: 2006-01-03 04:55 am (UTC)I've mostly been rolling my own perl scripts and using gqmpeg.
I'm not entirely sure that I want something that drags
mysql in along with it... I'll have to go back and look
at it when I actually start looking, though.
