Men were studied in the same way, but because it typically took only 20 seconds to reach ejaculation, it was difficult for neuroscientists to obtain and interpret data.
I think I read about this study elsewhere, and if I recall correctly, the problem is that for men, it was 20 seconds between the beginning and the end of the period they identified as "orgasm", and for women, this period was a minute. And, for some mumbletytechnological reason, their neurological snapshots could only effectively occur over a 30-second period -- meaning that their data for men got a lot of junk non-orgasm stuff in it.
I had assumed that they were only interested in the act of orgasm causing ejaculation which for many (apparently most) men does not last as long as that of a woman.
