Out of curiosity, why do you leave the 'h' out of "whee"?

Because I have no idea how it's spelled, and in my head there is no 'h'? :)

Damn silent letters!

Perhaps also because my brain _really_ wants to pronounce silent 'h's, which makes for odd-sounding words.

I've repeatedly noticed that others use the 'h', and repeatedly forgotten again.

(And I do pronounce the 'h', albeit without much emphasis, the way I do with "when" and "where". I put the 't' in "often", too. I'm weird that way.)
