Less than 24 hours!

My kitty is going to be annoyed with me again, for the next ~three weeks. He really does need to cope with the fact that he is no longer the only significant male in my life. It's not likely to change any time soon! ('course, he _was_, for the first year or so that I had him)

My _god_ I feel weird. I hope sleep works tonight.

Moderately anti-social today, and getting more so tonight. This ought to make the remainder of my week... interesting.

Traffic fucking _sucked_ both into and out of Somerville today. But I have many more (inexpensive) books!

Simultaneous grumpiness on the parts of myself and my roommate is... interesting. And being grumpy appears to increase my already ridiculous obsessiveness about kitchen cleanliness.

heh. yes.

i find myself less grumpy after noticing the cause (and mentioning, and learning that yes i will have alone time) and after being in my room for a bit. and hopefully tomorrow will be better.

Poke him to tell you his schedule. And you two should figure out what can be done if you need alone-time. :)

(not sure about the next couple days, though, since there will be an extra person beyond Joe. You'll be ok?)

oh yeah, definitely will be okay. i'm actually having a weird surplus of social energy (which has been going on for a few days) - it was mostly just the subconscious realization that i would not consistently have the apartment basically to myself during the day (which i've gotten extremely used to). once i consciously realized the reason, and once you mentioned that there would be ample opportunity for alone time, i was fine.

also, coffee table now has space! yay! thank you for taking some of the stuff off - that helped with the organizing.

Hee. My kitty gets *so* needy when I'm affectionate with humans. Of course, he also gets pretty needy when I'm giving attention to my computer. Of course, if I'm sitting quietly watching TV or reading a book, he has no interest in me.

My kitty only gets upset/needy/glary if I'm affectionate with humans with whom I have a strong emotional bond. Random affection with other people, he's fine with. Perhaps because that's fairly common with me with my friends. Not sure!
