Oh, look - home less than 24 hours and I appear to be coming down with something.

While I'm glad I waited to get sick until I was home, I have _no_ idea where I picked this up (less than 24 hours seems short to have picked it up from my very sick roommate). So I hope I didn't have it - and give it to people - while I was in San Franscisco last week.

Now, I shall attempt to convince my body that no, it should _not_ get amazingly sick on me. And I shall sleep more. And hope my muscles stop their all-over aching soon, 'cause ow!

I highly recommend flying in to as close to your destination as possible. It wasn't so much the 15-hour trans-Pacific flight that was killer as getting off of it and having to get on *another* *airplane.*

And if you have the chance, stop for a night in CA -- it's good to a) get out of airports for a bit and b) eat some real food, which is generally not to be found in airports. Sadly, it doesn't help with jetlag, but you can't have everything :)

See... if I'm going to stop in CA for the night, I'd probably want to crash in a city I know a bunch of people in. So it'd need to be SF or LA, depending on whose around. I _think_ LA is where the flight would normally go, but I know fewer people there (having never _been_ there).

*thinking*

I flew out of SF on United -- I would guess it depends on the airline?
