Today is _so_ surreal. Significantly more healthy than I was a week ago, startlingly more healthy than yesterday.

Was having trouble convincing myself that yesterday was actually a day that happened, rather than something I dreamed. Was good that I had lots of tangible evidence of that not being the case, as well as having the only important spoken conversation that occured yesterday also having a corresponding email.

Tired awake sad happy comfy hug-wanting nap-wanting energetic joyous weird...

Surreal, yes. But I'm at work today.

I'm going to have to have a much higher awareness of whether or not the impulses I want to do are actually _possible_ today, or I might try to do impossible things.

Like flying. Under my own power. Just... ignoring gravity and floating away.

Or breathing underwater.

It was really really sunny in Andover today, such that I was really happy and thinking I'd go for a walk at lunch. But it's cloudy here, and I'm having trouble convincing myself that the sunniness in Andover was real and not part of some dream.

So weird. But good. And fun! And it feels like Spring in my head, even though it isn't.

Please make sure anything I need to know about today is in writing, because I suspect that today is going to feel like it was really a dream tomorrow when I wake up.

Now, if you can just keep spring alive in your head like that for the next four months or so, you'll be all set.

Let me know how the flying works out.

Perhaps she should practice falling and missing the ground. I read somewhere that works...

That was today's daily gratuitous Hitchhikers Guide reference, perhaps soon to be followed by a side of Monty Python quotes about bunnies with sharp teeth. Except I have to put my goggles on and go back into the lab now.

No. See, it hurts if I _don't_ miss! :)

How does that work. Everytime I've missed the ground, it hasn't hurt. It's not the fall, it's the sudden stop.

...

If you don't miss, you hit the ground.

No?

So I'd not want to throw myself at the ground, because of the very real possibility that I would not miss!

Uhm. Yes. I don't know how I'm leaving negation out of some of what I've been reading lately. Somehow that seems to change the meaning of the sentence some...

Keeping spring alive: probably not. I think I'm just confused by the fact that it's sunny and relatively warm and the snow is mostly melted. :)

flying: Not yet. But I'm not sure how I ever manage to get from not flying to flying in my dreams, either.

Huh. I'm glad I don't live further north.

Was actually neat, because it meant that it was brighter out. Brighter in wintertime good, for me at least.

Ah, the wintertime glare.
