I must own this book. Eventually. Tasty book. Seen (for the second time; I don't remember where I first saw it) on bridgetester's journal.

tacit has interesting thoughts on communication - none of which were particularly news to me. Oh, no, wait - I was surprised to note that my inability to remember word-for-word what was said to me five minutes ago isn't unusual. Of course, I take it to an extreme, in that I can't remember word-for-word what was said to me a minute ago, usually, and generally can't remember what _I_ say word-for-word, either.

Nope. I haven't looked at the "tell me about someone" post yet. I just friended tacit. I've friended all three of the people that you mention in this post due to your journal. Two of them because you said "read this".
