Spontaneous call from
australian_joe = glee! (gleegleelgleeglee...)
Attempting to go to Diesel while in the middle of moving wasn't terribly bright of me. I apparently have no good sense of how long it takes me to move stuff, for one, so ended up arriving at Diesel at 8:30p (apparently missing bunches of people, unfortunately!). And, because of being tired from moving, leaving again at 9pm. _And_, I made my cat sad and irritable (because it's not like I'm around much while in the middle of moving, anyway, and going to Diesel only worstened that), which resulted in him waking me at 5am wanting pettins and _keeping_ me awake until I had to get up at 7. He's really good at being able to tell when I'm about to get to sleep (or at least close enough for a nap) and waking me up again.
So. No more Diesel attempts until I'm done moving and unpacking and my cat's less irritated with me.
I also think Ash misses the couch, because it's harder to get cuddling time with me this way, even when I _am_ sitting still.
And, the directions which completely avoid highways which
brynndragon figured out make me happy. Much less frustrating, and a little bit quicker than the highways, because of the construction and other strange summertime things which make my commute more annoying. Yay!
