Wow. Excellent post that [livejournal.com profile] rosefox linked to, at http://www.livejournal.com/users/trapezebear/129314.html

I also like a quote posted in [livejournal.com profile] starandrea's journal, here.

I slept better last night. Still not well, but better. I'm still tired, though. I wish the sun would come back.

And I miss.

It's strange having no roommate because she's cat-sitting. Oddly quiet. Left me at loose ends, initially.

But my patience is back, at least for now. Meditating before bed is good. So is remembering to center.

I think I need to do my best to be less social for a while, until I sucessfully recover from excess of socialness during the insanely busy month or so that really wasn't as long ago as my time sense keeps trying to convince me.

My brain is quieter than it has been in weeks, if not months. This is a good. I can wait again, at least for a little while.

Oops, I missed a couple links. The fisrt one is even one I read the original of! Bad me!

[livejournal.com profile] tacit is looking for "contributions of original fiction, nonfiction, art, and photography, with an edgy, BDSM/psycho-sexual/cyberpunk feel". Pass it on!

And, as linked by [livejournal.com profile] ladytabitha, [livejournal.com profile] yuki_onna explains how her "childfree" is totally different from, say, [livejournal.com profile] childfree.

*shakes head* Methinks I'm glad I'm confident enough in my preference for letting _other_ people have children to never have wanted to read [livejournal.com profile] childfree. Yikes. Do none of those people have friends with children? I mean, admittedly, I have some amount of avoidance of small children, but that's because they take _way_ more of my energy than most things do.

Dammit! I don't have a towel with me! 'Course, I didn't know today was towel day until I saw [livejournal.com profile] fraterrisus post about it. So I guess I have an excuse.

I have Morrowind! Now, we see if my home computer decides to be good and let me _play_ it, unlike it's current feud against Neverwinter Nights.

*has something to play with during her anti-social period*

[livejournal.com profile] theferrett posted about depression and suicide, and linked to a post his wife [livejournal.com profile] zoethe made, which talks not only about depression, but about how happy is a choice that *I* have to make, and not something that anyone can give me.

The people who seem to be happy most of the time? They have bad days, weeks, months, too. Really.

My tummy was hungry, and my brain had a song running through it too loudly to sleep. So I fed my hungry tummy with food I'd forgotten I had, and I'm posting the lyrics in the hopes that they'll stop running through my head.

(it's distinctly strange to have my brain trying to be thinking in a manner similar to the translation of _The Inferno_ that I was reading before attempting sleep. My brain is lyrical enough without help, but reading enough poetry makes it even more so)

I may have posted this song before, I'm not sure. Doesn't matter, though, as the point is to get it _out_ of my head, so I can sleep. (I'm also not liking the fact that it's cold enough out tonight that I keep almost turning on the heat. And it's been dark enough for too many days that I begin to question the fact that it'll be summer in a month)
