... the exedous of the former roommate is complete. The apartment started feeling clearer last night, probably because he did an excellent job of clearing his energy out of his room. There's _certainly_ an awful lot more space.
I was mildly surprised that he was talking to me yesterday, and today. Is good, though. Much as I had gotten to a point of not caring, I dislike feeling like people hate me.
More surprisingly, he commented that he was able to see this as a cloud with silver lining. Apparently, as much as he was annoyed with me the first few days (note: I was reading it as anger, but I also am bad at correctly gaguing other people's negative emotions), he's able to see how this really _was_ a good thing, for both of us.
Much relief.

I'm glad it was so simple. What a bonus that he's even unbending a little too! I hope things go better for him. (I know things will go better for you now that he's gone!)
