But I liked it too much to not try to do it. Snagged from [livejournal.com profile] silenceleigh's journal, and I've even kept some of hers. (wow. 50 of them is difficult!)

50 Things That I Would Really Like To Do But Cannot (At Least Not Yet)
(ranging from the improbable to the impossible to the "not a good idea" to the "just haven't had time yet"...)

1. Breath under water
2. Fly. Under my own power. Wings optional.
3. Spend a year or two doing nothing but traveling (this is actually my most immediate long-term plan, at least as far as travel in the US goes)
4. Not have to work in order to make money (this can include finding something I love to do that people happen to want to pay me for)
5. Paint using emotions, flavors, textures. Not exclusively.
6. Be able to communicate in concepts, instead of translating to words.
7. Know, and understand, everything.
8. Have a teleporter available at all times.
9. Draw the things inside my head
10. Figure out how to not have constant muscle pain of some sort or another
11. Know how to cook all sorts of interesting, but simple dishes.
12. Eat more healthily, consistantly, and inexpensively.
13. Drive stick-shift
14. Write poetry when I'm happy, rather than when I'm horribly depressed/confused.
15. Be able to relax, consciously.
16. Know Yoga really, really, really well.
17. Get back to a point where energy work, extra senses, and similar things are simply another part of who I am.
18. Be really good with making/understanding/using herbal remedies
20. Know what various plants can be used for, on sight.
21. Identify birds by their call (I can do this for some of them, now)
22. Not have periods during which I cannot see the joy in life.
23. Not let fear prevent me from doing things that need to be done.
24. Find a method of exercise that I enjoy enough that I keep with it
25. Have a treehouse.
26. Have extra hands when I want them.
27. Blow glass
28. Create pottery
29. Wirework
30. Live somewhere that it's not difficult to find a tree I can climb
31. Paint realistically.
32. Get into shape, and _stay_ there.
33. Sign language
34. Play the harp
35. Not have to worry about money
36. Find somewhere to live that I like as much as Boston, but whose wintertime isn't so difficult for me because of the lack of light.
37. Dance well
38. Create music of my own.
39. Know how to create a symbolic representation of the sky, in all of its various forms and times.
40. Have a literal ability to brain dump into the computer, or at people. That'd be _neat_.
41. Know how to sew neat and nifty things.
42. Talk to, and understand, all sorts of animals.
43. Figure out why I get so many headaches!
44. Visit lots of places I've never been to, out of the US (which is most of the world, actually)
45. Figure out where the point between excessively social and not social enough is, for me, at various points during the year.
46. Learn how to balance between enough time with people I already know and want more time with, and meeting new people. Without forgetting enough time for myself, too!
47. Not constantly kill off my plants, unless they are low water requirements ones.
48. Have somewhere that I can put plants for excellent sunlight purposes.
49. Explore space.
50. Find a true home for myself.
