Yes, I *am* trying to distract myself

I was recently told that I ought to obtain a button which says:
"Sweet and innocent Suzanne"
Mostly because someone referred to me as such, thereby sending me into absolute hysterics where I was gasping for breath due to my amusement.
While I may not be the *most* worldly of people I know (by a long-shot), the idea of my innocence simply amuses me. Especially when combined with an insufficiently low 49% on a purity test.
Incidentally, the person who called me this apparently uses 'innocent' in terms of one's cynicism and outlook on life, and not in terms of experience. Much less confused, this made me, although doesn't the 'sweet' part cover that? I carefully cultivate my generally amused worldview, thank you very much! :)
(my brain just wandered off to the land of 'sweet' as flavor... heh. yeah.)
So, now, I'm wondering if the idea of me as "innocent" amuses anyone else, or if it's just me.

Date: 2003-04-19 07:39 am (UTC)i would comment, but i really haven't interacted with you in "those" ways, so i can't be sure. all i'm sure of is that you laugh a lot (at least when i've seen you), and you look like you could be innocent, but in a way that does not preclude belief in your lack of innocence if it turned out to be the other way.
did that make any sense?
ro (not innocent, and no longer trying for even the pretence)
*amusement*

As for laughing a lot - in social situations where I am comfortable, this tends to be true. People I like tend to be people who amuse me, and my view of the world tends to be sufficiently unusual that most everything *can* amuse me. So much laughter tends to happen. Of course, if I'm exhausted, I'm less likely to notice things which amuse me, so laugh less at such points.
This does, however, rather imply that you've tended to interact with me in situations that I was comfy in. Which is always good. :)

Date: 2003-05-01 04:07 pm (UTC)I had a bf with the same definition. It didn't matter that I was busy being very not-innocent with him; he still saw me as very innocent.
It was definitely weird.
