Today, my back says 'ow!' a lot. More than usual, which is disconcerting. My neck, too. *grumble*
I have a massage scheduled for a week from Thursday. I keep thinking my body would be happier with me to do them twice monthly, rather than once monthly, but... expensive. And I no longer have insurance that covers part of it.
Ah, well. At least I get the once monthly ones! Many people don't, and I used to not, myself.
Also, my left leg says ow. Stupid leg. There's only so much stretching I can *do*, silly legs!
But, stretching every (or almost every) night has made them randomly angry at me less often. And I'm still very impressed that my massage therapist can massage them even when they are upset without causing more pain. I'm still not sure how she does this, since most people not me cannot manage that.
I need to remember to do Yoga more often. Actually, what I need to do is get a pictoral explanation of Yoga moves. I have a reasonable idea of how to move correctly, having taken a bit of Yoga, but don't tend to have enough initiative to *go* to Yoga class lately. And am not convinced that going is any more useful than doing the excercises on my own, if I knew what the positions/moves were well enough.
I also need to remember to inflate my excercise ball, which has been in my car for over a month now, waiting for me to remember. Bad me!
I need to contact lots and lots of people about getting together. But not this week. Next week.
In addition to the people I generally tend to try to see (or at least talk to) fairly frequently, I need to contact my sisters about visiting, since one will soon be in the area from Chicago, and I need to go visit the other and her daugher in RI.
Also, I have not seen my longest term friend in a while. I wonder if I can convince her to visit me? That's a large part of why I've not visited in a while - I don't *like* driving to Hartford, CT.
Also, I think there were a few pending planning stuff going on in my email from before I vanished for a week and a half, although I think they were mostly relating to next month, not this. Thankfully.

Re: Yoga
Date: 2004-01-06 10:56 am (UTC)On the other hand, pictures of you doing yoga sound like lots of fun. *leer*

Date: 2004-01-07 08:23 am (UTC)*chuckles* I wasn't actually thinking of *me* doing Yoga, since I'm not nearly flexible enough to do most of the poses! Amusing thought, though. ;)
Re: books and such
Date: 2004-01-08 11:33 am (UTC)As for the second part, I was just interested in getting more pictures of you. Especially in tight yoga outfits. You may've figured out by now that I'm a *polite* lech.

And, yes. I figured on the pictures aspect. Doesn't mean I don't get randomly serious, though. ;)
Re: randomly serious
Date: 2004-01-09 07:41 am (UTC)Being randomly serious is the best way to handle things like that. *smirk*
BTW, a friend posted this (http://www.theonion.com/images/337/image_article2046_418x445.jpg) and I thought of you. Hope you're having an enjoyable day, even if it's cold.

Date: 2004-01-06 05:29 pm (UTC)Regular exercise with this will help with muscle tone and help stretch those tensed neck and backl areas during periods between the monthly massage.
