Update on grandma

Just talked to my mom on the phone. Apparently this is not an unusual occurrence - my grandma being in the hospital,
I mean. Her asthma has been a problem for a while. The unusual aspect is probably the fact that they didn't put her in intensive care until yesterday (when she'd been in the hospital since last Thursday!), and that my father (it's his mom) knew about it while she was still in there.
So, aside from the problem being her asthma, my mom doesn't know anything. And was surprised that my father (apparently, he sent it, although from her account) sent mail out about it when no one knows anything yet.
Still in a state of shock, but less severely concerned. The fact that this is a relatively common occurrence makes it a bit less dramatic. Still worried, though...
*sigh* No roommate to steal a hug from, as he left for Asia already. The major minus of living alone!
Must go pet my cat lots now.
