I am reminded of what a huge effect it has to be sunny in winter. strong preference for sunny/cold over cloudy/less cold. oh yes.

I was walking to my building from the T stop and my eyes were all teary from the cold and the sunlight. And I didn't mind a bit.

Yes, yes, yes. The yearandabit I lived in Pennsylvania, it was much colder than what I was used to, but the sunshine kicked Copenhagen's butt where it's generally above freezing but overcast all the f*&king time - black - grey - black - black - grey - black - black - grey - black.
