*) The last thing I bought was a bookcase, and it is the most beautiful birch IKEA thing that was ever made, because it is straight and fiddly-bits free and holds my stuff. I'm not really good for "unuseful things on a useful thing" - I don't really get (acquire, understand) those things.
I suppose an example would be good. Like a phone that does IM, maybe? I don't know, I don't use it.
