Are there things which come in squeesy tubes which are food?
condiments, frosting/icing, and squeezy cheese are not food!

In Norway, lots of stuff came in metal squeezy tubes -- mayonnaise and caviar come to mind.

Mayo:

Kalles caviar spread (sort of cheese-y but def. not easy-cheese):

mayo = condiment.

Caviar, though. Weird, but ok. It seems like a condiment, though, because it's a spread?

What do you imagine could come in a tube and not be at least potentially a spread? :)

*blink* Um... ew! Why would yogurt be in squeezy tubes?

That is an excellent reason. And now I want a frozen yogurt pop. :)

Hummus, kinda (http://www.wildgarden.biz/index.html) (check out the single-serve packs). Lollipops. (http://www.candyshoppe.ca/shop/shopimages/squeezepop.jpg)

If plastic tubes count, there's yogurt (http://assets.kaboose.com/media/00/00/09/99/d86971869578f7a2c3b7aff0ad599871e70db0ff/476x357/rotator-yogurt-tube_476x357.jpg) and applesauce. (http://www.walnutacres.com/snack_overview.php) Also peanut butter (http://www.taquitos.net/snacks.php?snack_code=1944) and pudding, (http://www.theimpulsivebuy.com/wordpress/2004/09/10/x-treme-jell-o-chocolate-pudding-sticks/) although it's not clear to me either is still made.

Minced natto is available in squeeze tubes... that's what many sushi chefs use to make natto-maki.

Of course, whether natto is food or a biohazard is open to debate...

Remind me to tell you my natto-maki story sometime...

I've seen both pesto and tomato paste sold in this manner. I guess you'd call those condiments?

Hmm. I don't know what I'd call those.

Maybe? But unclear!

Even if you hadn't declared condiments as "not food" I'd know better than to mention Vegemite. :)

However! Sweetened Condensed Milk can come in a tube! (And is definitely not a condiment, nor any of the other items on your Not Food list.)
