Sigh. I feel like I have a choice of either not responding to this (yes, yes, arguably the right choice :-}) or going on for pages worth of fairly naked, personal stuff. So I'll just say something random and possibly cryptic: Actions and ideas that make other people feel really uncomfortable and pressured (and hence should be avoided) can sometimes come out of a true yearning for healing of long held, painful, warped patterns. And I think that's what happened there.
My comment was rather harsh; when one's horribly misguided attempt at self-healing triggers so much pain and fear in others it really pisses me off and I ain't no Buddha either. I just hope he actually learned something from the incident other than "the internet is a harsh mistress".
