It's _quiet_ in my apartment. It's really quite disconcerting.

Also, people who come help with kitty care are wonderful; otherwise all my wrist points would go to that.

Also also, I managed to bite my tongue sometime during the night and it _hurts_, and wacked my left elbow hard against something and it still hates me. Apparently my sleep was somewhat less than restful last night!

Less than three weeks. And I remembered to send mail to my parents about being gone. And I've started packing (yes, I pack early) and pinging people about contact info because I won't be online. And nearly an entire suitcase is stuff for [livejournal.com profile] australian_joe. Good thing I tend to pack lightly!

I'm still amused I went to Psinging last Friday, but didn't actually attend the Psinging part of things. Yay, conversation!

Not enough sleep last week. Perhaps I'll manage to make up for that this week, since it's just me and the cat.

I'm not _that_ noisy. But honestly, I know what you mean. There's a different kind of quiet when one of the people is not there.

Yay for helpful friendly people!

Sleeping: Not good. Neither you nor [livejournal.com profile] majes have been getting good sleep lately. I'm sleeping pretty much ok, but not great. The pillows are too fat and too smooshy. If that makes sense.

<3 weeks. My brain is weird.

Training is sporadic today due to meetings. Group dinner tonight. Hotels should really have loaner kitties for people who are used to sleeping with kitties.

What an image! :-)

Hey, want dinner some time?

Hey, yes!

Are we talking this week, or once [livejournal.com profile] jasra is back? Because this week would be complicated by my need to be here when kitty helpful person stops by, and that tends to be between 7-8p.

I hadn't thought that far ahead. When do you get in from work -- or rather, when are you at your home and done with work (to allow for the unknown whether you are commuting or tele-commuting)? If it were early, an early dinner would possibly fit, maybe on a Friday so [livejournal.com profile] galaneia could join, maybe some other day...Or perhaps after RotJ (Return Of The Jasra) to allow for more flexibility, in which case, ...

Uh. I'm bad at the planning today. Do you have the brain?

No, the brain is here in my cube right now, but I can throw it at her if it'll help. :-)

I wish I could squeeze into your suitcase (not the one brimming with [livejournal.com profile] australianjoe's goodies)
and then spend some summer days pestering [livejournal.com profile] curlygrrrl and poking at wrack on the beach.

Seriously, though, I wish you un très bon voyage and happy days in the company of some of your favourite people.

Customs would complain if I had an extra person in my suitcase! Perhaps if you had a shrinking ray? ;)

But yes, should be good. Even if [livejournal.com profile] australian_joe will likely be moving while I'm there. Impatient, though!

Yes, yes, a shrinking ray. That could have many uses for those of us in long-distance relationships. Incidentally it would also come in handy for helping [livejournal.com profile] australian_joe shrink, move, and reconstitute furniture and books.

Or that thing that Monkey had in that odd tv show we watched with himself.... that shrunk up the huuuge staff so it fit in his ear.

Fairly sure it was a property of the staff itself, actually. Not something else doing it.

Ah, yeah, I suppose that's true. Still, it would be a handy way to transport someone! You could have specially made earrings.
