It is _really_ difficult to find anything to eat with no fat in it. Seriously. And, unfortunately, fat is much of what prevents me from constantly feeling hungry (something I already knew).

Today's appointment indicated that I need to take care of fairly nasty constipation, first, and because of the long weekend, I won't be able to see the doctor again until Tuesday. In the meantime, anyone who sees me ought to expect me to be complaining about being fucking _HUNGRY_. (but if it's that or severe pain, I'll take the hungry) And this time, I will at least know that I need to not eat for 8 hours before the appointment, so an ultrasound of my gallbladder is possible.

And tonight, I go shopping to see what else I can find that is no fat, reasonably tasty, and might at least help prevent me from my current state of intense boredom with my available food options. (yes, I really do need no fat; oatmeal is fairly low fat, and made last night quite unpleasant)

Goddamn evil body.

Here's an interesting link that listed things ok to eat with gall bladder issues:
http://www.wakesurgical.com/DIET%20PDF/FAT%20RESTRICTED%20DIET%20FOR.pdf#search=%22fat%20free%20gall%20bladder%20diet%22

Just from a quick peak at it I think you could do ok with the options for consumption variety, for example:

Baked Sweet potato (with black beans if legumes are ok) topped with corn, tomato and cilantro

Pasta salad with veggies dressed with a flavorful vinegar, like balsamic or perhaps fat free mayo.

Spinach salad with strawberries

Skim milk based smoothies paired with fruit and some protein powder.

Matzo is allowed, maybe theres a fat free matzo soup in the kosher aisle?

Spinach salad with strawberries (Again, oil free vinegrette)

Fresh herbs, vinegar, citrus, soy, spicey things like hot sauce are all great fat free taste enhancers...

Nifty! Thank you!

My protein powder, at least, has some fat in it, unfortunately. But still, good to have ideas as to what to look for.

True,

Quinoa is a grain that has protein in it, Im not sure on the fat but Im guessing its minimal.

Anything high in fiber will help ditch that Im HUNGRY feeling.
