Jun. 19th, 2006 12:12 pmSo...
Apparently the PT was not intending the excercises including weights as strength work. She was apparently not fully aware of just how weak my arms _are_ (although I had tried repeatedly to explain that it was being strength work), and was aiming for increased blood circulation-type excercises, not strength work.
Sigh. At least now she seems to get it.
And, at least now I have a recommendation for an orthopedic doctor, who ought to have more clue about these things and be more helpful for the whole 'no, I'm not slacking here' thing relating to continued benefits and workers comp or short-term disability or whatever the hell I end up needing to apply for.

Date: 2006-06-19 04:33 pm (UTC)Visiting me would easier, unless you are literally intending to be driving me over there and back, since driving is a problem right now.
I currently have no plans Weds or Thurs night, and Sunday is free. Let me know if further out is needed (I'm also trying to schedule time with other friends, so further out is uncertain. :).

Date: 2006-06-19 06:28 pm (UTC)I'm perfectly willing to pick you up and deliver you...I like driving, and your house can be made on the way home from work if necessary.
As for "just hanging out" -- I need An Excuse; it's how my mind works. Like I can't just take a walk -- there ought to be some putative destination. So the board games are an excuse -- though actually, I think you might have fun playing them.
There could be dinner too, dunno.

Dinner is good, yes, as I'm likely to be hungry!
