Because I'm not quite tired enough to sleep, and it's been intriguing me (some bits seem accurate enough, but some I'm undecided on, and I might even have some I disagreed with), Why Your Wife Won't Have Sex With You, via rednikki. It's kinda long, as it's a set of essays (aka blog posts). I did not finish it. But intriguing! (especially to my proto-psychologist mind! ;)

(also intriguing to my proto-psychologist mind was a thought I had a few days ago, wondering if there were any studies checking for a link between bullies as kids and abusers as adults. Seems likely, but...)

Huh. That blog is a few years old. I wonder if it were written today whether it would contain more things to the effect of "maybe she just isn't that into you" (a reference to an extremely popular series of self-help books). I think the blogger would have found that too fatalistic for her tastes, instead of empowering in the way the books intend. I also don't like the blurring of "fixing your relationship will fix your sex life" with "fixing sex will fix your relationship", especially in light of what I take as an undercurrent of "most relationships are based mostly on hard work".
