My status reports are now daily blogs. This amuses me _immensely_.

My brain _still_ wants me to look the opposite way when walking. And, when tired enough, _even though I didn't drive there_, it pokes me to make _sure_ I think I'm driving on the correct side of the road.

(Conversations go something like this:

"Hey. You sure this is the right side of the road?"

"Yes! Everyone else is driving here, so shut up!"

"Just checking...")

Was really quite alert yesterday. Until a couple of hours after dark. Then, I had to leave a meeting early because I could _NOT_ stay awake. On the plus side, either it takes quite a bit longer for the evil lack of light to affect me than for lots more light than I'm used to to affect me (may have been the extra light and new and nifty place and people and being with [livejournal.com profile] australian_joe for lots of time, but may have been an actual reasonably lengthed vacation for the first time in years. Difficult to say, but I was definitely far more energetic than I've been in a long time), or the fact that I'm taking two different OTC anti-depressants and doing my light box every morning is sufficient to counteract winter-but-not-the-worst-part-of-it. Dunno.

Mew! Still pretty energetic, actually. I think that vacation may have helped counteract having been burnt out by my job a couple of summers ago.

I told you - staying under that Australian sun for a full Australian year was going to have this effect on you. No one ever listens to me though. Not everything I say is a grotesque manipulation intended to draw your soul into a bottomless pit of horrifyingly beautiful darkness. I, for example, occasionally say stuff like "I would like a donut" or "It's warm out today" or "The secret of Hezekatachak's stone is locked in a great black vault, beyond the triplet guardians, each of whom wield swords forged from the bones of death itself."

Month != year, weirdo. :)

And no, actually, even when you were claiming a year would pass, you said nothing about energetic effects. :)

Fah. Relative to infinity, a month is approximately equal to a year.
