Also! Mood improvement from sunlight took a few hours, at most. And this is included the sheer exhaustion from travel and jet lag. (this probably means that my reaction to having less light when I return will _also_ be really quick, sadly)

I get cold _way_ too easily. No idea what temperature it was, but I kept having trouble with being cold anytime the wind blew, much to the bemusement of [livejournal.com profile] australian_joe. Admittedly, I got the sense that yesterday wasn't _that_ hot out. And yes, I was wearing pants, not shorts (at one point changed from linen to jeans), and a t-shirt. Sometimes, I would add a button down flannel shirt, and sometimes an alpaca sweater on top of that. Seriously, I was _COLD_ (mosty started being _really_ cold a few hours before sundown).

Still, no winter coat, and no long underwear. And the jeans aren't lined. So, yay. :)

In my experience, that kind of thermoregulation weirdness is related to jet lag. Your old-brain thinks it's the middle of the night, so you go into low-energy-burn mode, which doesn't keep up with what's happening around you. Something like that. *shrug*

Yay for sun.

Ah. Huh! Hadn't considered this, but it makes sense.
