Severe exhaustion combines interestingly with trying to test something with which I am unfamiliar. Then again, it's been long enough since I've done testing that most things are unfamiliar!
Apparently my bitching loudly about how certain behaviors of programs make _no_ sense is entertaining for those around me. Being tired means I am more... vocal than I might otherwise be, and significantly more easily confused.
Ah, well. Doing good testing, anyway. Once I get past 'this behavior is expected' things, at least.
Also, everyone should read Larry Niven and Steven Barnes' Dream Park series, if they have not already. Just finished the first, as
jasra owns at least the first two, and it looked interesting. Now, of course, I wanna _go_ to Dream Park. Damn Niven and his nifty ideas! ;)
(I suspect that I look not dissimilar to this userpic. Stupid sleeping lightly and struggling to fall asleep during a time of year which is already difficult for me! But I suppose since that's mostly normal for me, especially in winter, yay for having pills which have helped prevent it until recently!)

Date: 2005-12-08 03:53 am (UTC)I wish I could help more than tell you stuff you already knew...control light levels near bed-time (including monitors), etc., etc. Sigh. (See Engineer. See engineer spot problem. Fix, engineer, fix!)
