Via leiacat, the most evil sheet music ever. With page two in the comments. My initial reaction - and I used to read music reasonably well - was shock. Then I started reading the text, causing me to giggle lots. Oh, the glee. (well, after the shock)

In paidmembers, we are informed that the LJ portal is back, although now it's called My LJ, has a bunch of features, and is not available to free users yet.

Weirdly, actual musicians will recognize most of the directions as exactly the sorts of things real composers write. Just, never all at once. My personal favorite on this is the "remove mute" with no previous "mute" anywhere in piece. I hate it when I'm pretty sure I'm not supposed to play the whole thing muted, but there is no indication of where to stop!

Overall, disturbingly realistic.

Believe me, as a clarinet player (or worse yet, flute!) it is *far* more disconcerting to receive a "remove mute" command halfway through the piece.

"Is this the right part? Am I in the right key? Where'd I put my trumpet?" :-P

The explosions aren't weird at all -- the 1812 overture has cannons. As to the peanuts, I'm still working on that. The trouble is that, just like real directions in music, it does not tell you how or where to insert the peanuts!
