Good map. I'll take the "desert and stuff" part, since it's at least stable. The real problem there is the summer monsoons. Got to have them, since they provide the water for all year. But all the watercourses flood.

(Of course I write that as I sit in Maryland...)

See, here in Michigan, this is my philosophy...

Every few years, we get screwed by a blizzard that's really awkward. Makes us miss a day or two of work. Some homeless people die (that part is tragic, actually).

In other parts of the country, they have much nicer weather most of the time. Then, every few decades, they get screwed in a way that's not just a minor inconvenience.

In the grand scheme, it all seems to balance out.

I am always concerned about a summer infestation of Mormons, but so far spraying and an agressive campaign of neutering has kept them in check my my county.
