Also, my finger nails are purple. Except when I'm warm, when they are blue. Yay, color changing nail polish and random desire to use it!

I would, I note, like to be able to fall asleep before midnight again...

True, that would be teal. I don't generally get very specific with colors, though, when the point is about the colors changing, rather than necessarily the colors themselves. :)

The flavor sprays thing caused the BaconStrips ad from quite some time ago to be going through my head.

"It's bacon! Baconbaconbaconbaconbacon! What's that say? I can't read!"

Now, for no apparent reason, my brain is refusing to parse the written word "bacon" as bacon. That's just freaky ;P.

My nails are pink, except when I'm cold, when they're purple, or even blue, if I'm really cold. But I don't think this is achieved the same way your nail colour change trick is :-).

Indeed not! And, in fact, the fact that 'blue' means 'warm' kept confusing me when people would comment on blue usually meaning cold. :)
