This fits with some other stuff I've been reading recently. And cynical, selfish me, I couldn't help but thinking as I read through it "Ok, what investments could I do that would pay off handsomely if the price of oil jumped by a factor of 2-3?".

He might be wrong. My guess is he's not, but he might be. But if he isn't, it's going to be an interesting world.
