The plus side of trying to be very good about drinking enough water to avoid kidney stones is that I'm getting much better at _noticing_ when I'm thirsty, rather than ignoring it.
water bottle: I'm good with having my water bottle with me at work; not so good at other times.
Which means that, as long as I'm doing ok at work, doing less well over the weekend seems to be within tolerble limits, but I need to be even more careful on vacations!
What I've been doing is keeping a number of water bottles; one by my desk, one by the bed, one with me when I go out...except I often forget that last one. But apparently I've gotten so in the habit of sipping constantly that about a minute after I step out the door without any water, I get intensely thirsty. Now if only that were a minute _before_....
