Unexpected sweet and sappiness is excellent, although fascinatingly difficult for me to figure out how to respond to.

Way, _way_ OCD of me to have finished reinstalling Linux on my desktop, and gotten VPN working on it. Now, it's updating itself.

Lack of furniture in an apartment makes for an amusing method of cuddling.

Stinky and hot apartment is unpleasant, though.

I really need to go sleep now.

Neh, the laughy and hugs were perfect.  Physical contact, plus joking to dispel tension.  (Even happy stuff is tension, technically.)

In theory, the people who went over the carpet the first time are going to go back. Apparently, the problem is that the scent soaked into the carpet pad, which is very difficult to clean. Apparently, also, they replaced a piece of the pad for that reason. We shall see how much I can do, post second-time through, with the nature's miracle and baking soda.
