Date: 2005-05-10 07:02 pm (UTC)I'm more skeptical of the smell studies than others have been, and it feels to me that the scientists (or at least the journalists) are trying to let their agenda drive their scientific analysis. It surprises me, for instance, that they seem so ready to discount the mind's ability to adapt its interpretation of smells based on sexual orientation: Correlation is not causation.
