So, I think I've decided that a) the meds I've got don't actually do anything (or not very much) to make my legs not desperately need to be stretched or moved, _and_ b) they appear to make me rather wide awake, even when I was very sleepy immediately before taking them. And, annoyingly, awake but still _tired_, so I can't _do_ anything.

I stop taking them, I think, as having to take melatonin to sleep when there aren't seeming to be any useful effects is silly. Also, I call the place that perscribed it, and explain what's going on.

Unsure if I'd made the connection before now now.

It's apparently fairly common, and highly underdiagnosed, as most people don't realize that it's diagnoseable. I note that there is a lot of variety in how bad it can be. Mine is not, IMO, bad enough that I am willing to take anything which is potentially habit-forming.

Mine is sporadic and relatively mild based on the little bit that I read on the RLS site that I found. I'm sure if it ever causes issues I can deal with it then.

Mine makes sleep fraught with difficulties, most of the time, and worse in winter. So, as I would like to have the ability to sleep more easily (getting there and staying there) on a regular basis, I investigate.
