How to find a vintage gif:

1) Search my own DW for "mannirs".

2) Realize I could search public posts on all of DW, including ones ported over from LJ in the era when the gif was circulating.

3) Find a post from an old friend with the link that was shared by my then-and-still partner.

4) Drop the link into the Wayback Machine.
