So... as some of you may already know, my cat is very fond of being under the covers in the wintertime.

It's really very amusing to watch him attempting to get under the covers when there is no place on the bed from which he can do his, because he is then visible attempting to get under the covers from the side of the bed. Very, very carefully. And slowly.

Very strange looking, that is!

(then again, it's pretty funny watching him butting his head against the covers while he tries to find a comfy place to lie down)

Weird cat.

That's so cute. One of our kitties has this thing about wanting to be under the sheet when we make the bed. The minute he sees either of us making the bed, he leaps onto the mattress and lies down. I usually finish making the bed and watch the kitty lump move around under the sheet.

Our kitty Rufus used to love sleeping under the covers beside me. It was nice to have such a warm fluffball - that is until the other cat noticed he was under the covers and would start to prod him from outside the covers...

Yesterday morning, Camille crawled under the covers, curled up by my belly and purred for a while, then went to sleep.
Marlowe (the skittery foster kitty that doesn't like me very much) came in, walked around on top of the bed, then curled up by me on the pillow and actually started to purr. I was shocked. So I petted her for a few minutes, but then Camille poked her little jealous head out from under the sheets. Surprise! None-to-nose sniff... hissing... rrreeEEOOOWWWRRR....
and that was the end of that.
