Beep!

For all of yesterday, when I tried to be at work (semi-successfully, although I ended up leaving early and am working from home again today), I kept having to stifle (and sometimes failing to stifle) saying 'beep' for no apparent reason.

I have no idea what time it is. This is so very strange for me, to have to actually look at my watch for any reason than to get a more exact idea. I have _no_ idea (except that it's after noon, because it was the last time I looked).

I have no summary skills today. But [livejournal.com profile] sinboy had an interesting set of links. For the value of 'interesting' that, at least for the latter one, is _really fucked up_.

I continue to be fascinated by the experience of working from home, from bed, with an electric blanket and a kitty and pajamas.

I sometimes feel like everyone I know is playing World of Warcraft. And I am thankful that I tend to prefer to not play online games, because I get the sense that - unlike most computer games - this is one that would try to eat my brain and all of my time.

Tired.

I am immensely fond of the item in the 8th picture down. Mecha-panda! Yay [livejournal.com profile] moominmolly pictures!

This is the reason why I tend to avoid (complex) computer games, because when I do play them (which, granted, tends to be when I have ridiculous amounts of time and am bored), I get highly obsessive.

It's bad enough having the Internet as a 24-hour medium for random play and social interaction, let alone a game.

Beep! is inappropriate for work? :(

No...

I just don't like saying _anything_ more or less constantly, which is what I would have been doing had I not been stifling it.

beepbeepbeepbeepbeep! Maybe it was an outward sign that you were moving and doing things, and that people should not bother you overly much?

Hmm! Maybe, but I've been doing it since then, as well.

Perhaps it's fun. Or perhaps it just is.
