(This is all in reference to the results of this poll)
So, the sewing machine and table appears to have a home, once I schedule a time to drop it off. Yay!
Some of the books and buttons obtained a home yesterday.
I'm actually impressed that anyone wanted the Fantasy & Science Fiction back issues, and am probably going to attempt to contact the two who indicated interest (one local, one not) to see about figuring out a way to split them up and get them to people, because I was having major trouble finding a place to donate them. And while it's nice to have a table, it's kinda bugging me to be using boxes of nifty magazines as a table. Poor magazines feel unloved!
I suspect the vast majority of interesting pins/buttons (I appear to be unable to choose a single word for that!) were already taken, but probably not all of them. I also suspect that both the books and pins could easily turn into a post, and have stuff dispersed that way. There weren't many who were both interested and able to make something at my place, so I think I'm not going to bother with that idea.
There's such a small amount of clothing (and not much interesting clothing, as
ayalanya gets first pick by virtue of living with me, and tends to take what I would consider the stuff anyone else is likely to want anyway) that I'll probably just drop it off at the nearby thrift store. Although, actually, someone might be interested in the two pairs of boots (size 7.5-8, women's, US sizes). I might post a picture of them.
Incidentally, and unrelated to the topic above, I'm impressed with the speed with which you people wandered over to say hi to
veebl. Especially considering that it's a Sunday! *impressed and pleased*
So... does this mean that I can claim to have minions? ;)

Date: 2005-02-21 05:03 am (UTC)You have minions? Poor thing! I hope they don't hurt too much. Or are they the sort of thing one puts in soup? I can't remember.
