volta visted, and it was very good.aelisdeliria also visited. Also good.And, unexpected really fabulous gift! (look! I didn't say 'nifty' or 'cool'!)
Much chatting and hugs and back scritching happened. And food. And I didn't drive. At all. Even though I did forget that I refused to do so at one point, and was reminded.
Soon to be roommate was in the middle of moving stuff in, and it wasn't hugely annoying, considering that it was a day I specifically set aside for *me*. I suspect that had I not had people visiting me, it might have been, though.
Two siblings called. I always feel a little bad when they call on my birthday, since I never remember to. But, oh well. Various people wished me a happy birthday via email and LJ. And a few gave me e-cards.
I'm going to go purr softly to myself and read, now.
