This is pretty neat, although those of us with pics, but no default, don't show up. Saw it lots of places. :)

Hee! Amazing how many I recognise by their actual photo! 8->

I was actually fairly surprised by how many icons I recognized. Of course, as already demonstrated, recognizing icons - even if actual photos - doesn't mean I recognize people offline. :)

I also recognised a number of non-photo icons, but I was expecting to be able to do that. It was the photos that surprised and amused me in terms of how many.

I think I recognised the photos of everyone I've talked with for more than a couple of minutes.

Goodness.

May I borrow your recognition skills sometime? ;)

(Actually, I think I have - I'm pretty sure you've told me who people were before. Which can be a bit disconcerting, sometimes. ;)

Aha! This is your third stat in my Mental Health Roleplaying Game System!

Prognophasia +8

Plus _eight_?!

I am skeptical. I've never not recognized a family member, for example.

Except you and your long-distanceness and lack of time in-person, I've never not recognized someone I was dating. (And I did, mostly, this last time in the airport!)

Plus five, I'd believe. Maybe even plus six. But not plus eight!

Of course, I may not be the best judge of this, since I have trouble remembering the first time I meet most people. Damn collision of multiple different problems! (face blind, trouble remembering names especially spoken ones, and inability to remember things about a person before I have a slot in my head to put them - which someone being associated with another person does help with. Actually, I suspect my noisy environment auditory processing trouble also affects this, since this is almost certainly why it's difficult for new people to catch my attention)

I babble. I stop now. :)

Ok, +8 might've been too high. 8->

*grins* Now, +8 for N(V)LD, I'd agree with.

(what was the other one? Oh, right - OCD. OCD... +... 6?)

I'm still not sure it's N(V)LD rather than Asperger's, but ok.

I think:

N(V)LD +9
OCD +7
Prognophasia +6

but you've bought/developed compensatory techniques, such that your effective stats are:

N(V)LD +5
OCD +5
Prognophasia +5

Have I ever remembered to ask you _why_ you are unconvinced? Because I don't appear to have an answer to that question in my head.

And I note that I never felt quite like Asperger's was right; close, but not right. And my mom says that I apparently once told her that high-functioning autism was more right than Aspergers, as apparently they are not the same thing. This is part of why I've started saying 'somewhere on the autism spectrum', as generic as that may be. :)

Anyway...

I am amused by my stats, which I will almost certainly never remember, and amused by the fact that I can never remember the word 'prognophasia'. It's a good thing there's also 'face blind', because otherwise I'd never be able to word this! :)

Wow, yours is the only one I've seen so compactly arranged, with no rows of only one userpic breaking up the collage.

Did I know that you knew Jennifer (Leigh/Wesp/Gates)? I don't remember knowing that...

Who's the person that looks kind of like clove but I don't think is clove, in between Scott and Nikki, third row from the bottom?

That's because I previewed it, and the breaking up annoyed me. So I removed the forced line breaks.

I only know Jennifer as of fairly recently, only online, and not all that well. I can't remember if I should blame #homeport or [livejournal.com profile] australian_joe for that. :)

And, that's [livejournal.com profile] sunyata__, previously from Orlando, recently moved to the Bay area. As far as I know, you two have never met. Which does not, I note, mean that you have not, since you know half the world. ;)

Oh, right, I should've remembered the Joe connection. He's known Jennifer even longer than I have (which means he's known of me for more than a decade now :).

And yes, I have met Christina, and at the time we met, I'm pretty sure you knew it :) I think it was even indirectly because of you.

Very true!!

I think I introduced myself and asked you if you were the Cos I'd been hearing about for all those years. 8->
