wispfoxI am pleased by many, and often strange, things.
The ability to give directions which include informational bits give warning before one needs to do something, for example. Even if the directions aren't even _for_ me.
The fact that my memories entries have 'joe', then 'joy', then 'link.beauty', then 'links.geek'. Oh! And right before 'joe' is 'intensity'. Hee. :)
People telling me that things I post make them think about things differently. Or cause them joy.
The fact that I misread, mishear, and mistype things in frequently amusing ways (eg, 'gray bar' read as 'gay bar').
The fact that my friends deal well when I spontaneously lose all sense of 'normal' conversational interaction, and repeat a 'look at the pretty!' type comment in stranger and stranger ways until I appear to have been heard. (thankfully, I don't do this much, or I'd drive my_self_ crazy)
Unusual ways of phrasing things please, and often amuse, me. Sometimes enough that I will repeat things other people say a few times to get a feel for them. Such things especially please me if they cause pretty pictures in my head.
Often, being amused also pleases me. Because of this, however, it is entirely possible (perhaps probable!) that I will use 'amused' in a case where it was just pleasing and not amusing at all. This is strange, but true.

Date: 2005-02-07 01:14 am (UTC)You do give very good directions. I didn't get lost getting to your place at all. Now, leaving with all the snow I ended up not turning the right away but I figured it out pretty quickly.
There are phrases in my brain that are now associated with you. "Look at the pretty/shiny" is definitely one of them. And then I get a silly, amused look on my face.
