Huh. The last post was apparently going more into depth into things I'm still figuring out about myself than I thought, because now I'm all uncertain about having posted it.

Weird.

I frequently have second thoughts about what I posted - I sometimes delete them or I'll leave them up to see if anyone has anything to say that might send my brain in a slightly different direction than the one that it has been moving in.

Lately I've been finding it very difficult to put some of my noodling thoughts down into words because they're still feel unformed and overwhelming, choosing to reside in an area of my brain where they can bounce around as blurry snippets of visual and auditory memories [or hallucinations] that yearn to be in focus, but can't be and as a result it is not possible to attach specific words to them.

Hmm..and apparently these thoughts cause run-on sentences.

It's good that you have enough clarity that you can think some things through outloud and in words that can be read and re-read and pondered over.

This is _why_ I write them down. To try to force them to stop being fuzzy and partially formed. Doesn't always work, as sometimes things aren't sufficiently close to being verbal.

But that _is_ why.

It's good that you have enough clarity that you can think some things through outloud and in words that can be read and re-read and pondered over.

For the most part, I do things in writing first, as it's easier and tends to be more clear and allows me to more easily notice if something I'm saying isn't actually entirely what I _mean_ to be saying.

It also allows me to refine things when I read them later, and if anyone else has any comments.

I tend to not want to say things I'm still trying to figure out, as it tends to come out wrong, and most people aren't comfortable with me realizing that I didn't actually mean it the way it came out and then trying to re-word it while I'm talking to them. There are those who are fine with this, which is great and fascinating, but it's unusual. Also, talking is more effortful for me than writing is.

Uncertain howso? It's neat hearing how other people's minds work. I read posts like that and am inspired to dig around in my own mind, to compare and contrast. 'Tis nifty.

Uncertain howso?

Uncertain... that I quite said what I meant to say, that I said all of what I wanted to say, that I didn't accidentally say things the wrong way in a way that caused people to get hurt needlessly.

Just, uncertain. :)

I'm glad! :)

I agree with this completely.
